Dublin emcee Dynamic has just released a video to his track Growing Up. The track is produced by FUDman and uses a nice vocal sample to enhance the smooth dropping beat a sound that definitely suits Dynamic as he finds his comfort zone, dropping a nice natural flow over it.
Waterfords crew Sons Phonetic dropped into local radio station TCRFM to drop some sick cypher bars, backing up their dominant place in the Irish HipHop scene.
CuCullen drops another great track/video Elusive from his Myths & Legends album and features Aido8 of The Infomatics and C.G Spokesman. The track is also produced by CuCullen and holds a nice flowing sampled beat.
This Thursday 12th September Droplet Session hits Sweeneys Bar in Dame Lane in aid of Pieta House. A fundraising night for the society as part of Suicide Awareness Week - Promoting Life.
The night will consist of some live performances in HipHop, Spoken Word and Acoustic sets.

The first single Look To The Sky from Ger Kellett's upcoming album Honesty has just dropped accompanied by a video. The track is produced by G.I and has that trademark airy sampled vibe to it. Kellett matches with his light flow and personal aspected content. Visuals on this one by Jay Mahon of L.A.B. Media are nice, simple and sharp. A nice zone track, definitely looking forward to hearing some more from this guy.
The third solo EP installment from the Sons Phonetic crew comes from Kav, titled Perception Tunnel, this 5 track EP holds in stature to the level we've been hearing and expecting from the Sons Phonetic maestros. With the usual dark, contrasted production from Mook, Kav spits solid, straight and timed bars delivered with relaxed precision.

Back in September of last year Artane native Siyo dropped his latest solo album The Real Simon Young. For me this album put a whole new dimension to the Dublin emcee with him really delivering a solid, well crafted piece of work and in my own opinion I felt he totally upped his craftmanship as a songwriter and emcee choosing some top beats and collabs to really match his position, style and deliveries.
Legendary UK Reggae MC Macka B plays his first ever gig in Dublin, supported by the mighty Ras Tinny & Mr Upfull (Madu) and Irish emcee Costello.
Macka B is a British-born reggae artist, performer and activist with a career spanning thirty years in the United Kingdom and Jamaica. He's one of Britain's most influential dancehall toasters.
