The latest of the solo EP's from the Sons Phonetic camp comes from the lyrical beast Mouse Hughes. Mouse dropped his 5 track EP Jewels Of The Trade in May and as expected he delivers razor sharp pin point accuracy in his lacing of all beats produced again by Mook except for track 4 produced by Noize Thievery, the Belfast based beatmaker.

Hailing from Derry, Diatribe dropped this politically driven anarchistic track along with The Crimson Underground another Derry based collective. From the album Information Age this is Medisins an edgy track with punk influences attacking the controlling forces of the medical industry. Cork's Trigger is back with Back To Basics ft Levinia, another track lifted from the upcoming EP Triggernometry, an epitaph to the departed Basic. As I've said before I rate this guy as one of the nations best at the moment, his flow is impeccable and his content is always on point. Another top track from the Cork emcee and keeping Basic's memory alive.
Linco's first single from his upcoming as yet untitled debut album Mind Over Matter was released recently and see's the Dublin native cut his way into the scene with strong influences from his mentor's at Working Class Records. The track was produced by Calzone Kelly who creates a paced track to open up for Linco's monotone flow.
Dublin's Rebel Phoenix just dropped his first single Poverty's Paradise off his upcoming debut album R.E.B.E.L. (Reaching Everyone By Exposing Lies). The beat on this track is on point, a haunting, soulful sampled intraverted beat that holds Rebel Phoenix's slow paced, heavy, body-shot message in the form of word.
